PATV Long Island is proud to announce our supporting Nassau County District Attorney, Madeline Singas, and the Long Island Youth Safety Coalition in filming the “Brainstorms” Youth and Mental Health Conference that was held at Hofstra University on December 5, 2017. The conference featured the renowned Victor M. Fornari, M.D., Director of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Northwell as well as special guest, singer and anti-bullying activist, Long Island’s Meredith O’Connor.

There were informational mental health workshops and resources of practical value to both teachers and youth workers including – current trends and signs, risk factors, specialty courts, evidence based programs, suicide, social media, and law enforcement support.
